Dream Interpretation and The Unconscious Logic – The Tomato in Dreams
I could complete Carl Jung’s research thanks to the unconscious guidance in dreams. It was not simple to discover everything and understand my discoveries, but I was not making a research in total darkness. I was following the unconscious light. This was how I could find the missing pieces of the puzzle formed by Carl Jung.
In the beginning I couldn’t understand the dream language as clearly as I understand it today. However, I was guided. I had a map. Alone I would never discover anything.
This means that you can discover many things based on the unconscious guidance like me. The unconscious mind will help you successfully solve even the most difficult problems. I was not more intelligent than you. I simply was very serious and extremely obedient. I obeyed Carl Jung’s guidance, and then I obeyed the unconscious guidance.
The unconscious mind follows another logic; it thinks in a different way. You have to get used with the unconscious logic in order to understand the meaning of dreams.
For example, the unconscious mind makes strange personifications. I will translate for you a sentence from one of my patient’s dreams, without giving you information about the dreamer because I don’t have the right to talk about my patients’ problems. I will use one dream scene from his dream to show you what type of personifications the unconscious mind makes.
‘The tomato fell down on the ground.’
Dream Translation:
The tomato in dreams represents shame. Whenever you have dreams about tomatoes, this means that you will feel ashamed about your behavior.
However, everything depends on the dream story. The tomato is a positive dream symbol when you are eating a tomato in a dream, or when you are simply looking at a tomato. This is not the case in this dream.
When a person falls down on the ground or lies on the ground in a dream, this means that this person lost their self-confidence.
The fact that the tomato fell down on the ground means that the dreamer’s shame lost its self-confidence. In other words, the dreamer’s shame has no hope to ever manage to appear in the dreamer’s behavior. The dreamer is not ashamed of his negative behavior and never will.
This is the meaning of this dream scene.
The unconscious logic makes personifications with the dreamer’s behavior. The sentence ‘The dreamer’s shame lost its self-confidence’ is quite strange. In the beginning you cannot understand it, even if you know the meaning of the dream symbols. You have to analyze this sentence based on the unconscious logic.
The superior unconscious mind follows a logic based on wisdom.
The unconscious mind is not merely a superior mind. The unconscious mind is God’s mind. There is also a spiritual dimension behind the meaning of dreams. You are cured based on the unconscious sanctity. So, you have to understand how the unconscious mind looks at all dreamers.
For the unconscious mind, all dreamers are terrible sinners.
In this dream scene the divine unconscious mind is condemning the dreamer for being totally indifferent to his moral principals. The unconscious mind is disgusted with the dreamer.
This is why the unconscious mind shows him that his shame lost its self-confidence. The shame’s self-confidence in this case is the shame’s hope to make the dreamer notice its existent. The dreamer will never feel ashamed of his immoral behavior.
Once you master the dream language, all problems disappear. You are able to translate the meaning of the dream symbols and follow the dream logic. You understand the messages contained in the dream images. Thus, you start having a communication with the unconscious mind.
This is an extraordinary alternative that gives you the chance to have trustful information about yourself, about other people, and about the world. The unconscious mind helps you in all fields.
